Project 11 exists to create greater access, representation and opportunity within the events industry.
Our aim is to empower underrepresented communities by connecting emerging talent with meaningful career pathways, internships, mentorship and industry networks. Through an approachable, community-first identity, Project 11 seeks to build trust, inspire confidence and position itself as a catalyst for positive change, helping shape a more diverse and inclusive future for the industry.
Through the Community Interest Corporation and its (imminent) sister Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Project 11 aims to foster development and alleviate hardship through training and gainful employment.

Project 11 is a newly formed charity working to remove financial barriers to entry and create fair, paid pathways into the industry for talented individuals, regardless of background.
Grant funding is available to eligible participants joining the programme, helping to bridge the gap between low paid internships and the cost of living. This support is made possible through the generosity of partner companies and individual supporters who share our commitment to widening access and creating fair opportunity within the industry.
For the first year, until we are eligible for grant funding, we will rely on the support of private companies and individuals. Every donation goes directly towards closing the gap in opportunity for young people entering the industry.
We ask participating employers to cover 50% of the London Living Wage, with Project 11 covering the remainder. £15,392 funds one internship and can make a meaningful difference to a young person’s future.
